Grace

Hello my dear friends!

My name is Grace. I am 4 years old and I’m studying at the Lutheran Nursery School. I started in 2019 and in 2020 I will reach standard 1. My teacher’s name is Ansila, but actually she doesn’t like to be called that name. Instead, she likes to be called a Friend (Rafiki in Swahili)!She is very good to us. When I’m at school we learn subjects like English, Swahili and math. I want to prove that I can count to 10 in English ( one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten ). Now you see how good I am? We always go to school during week days only. Then on weekend it is my resting days, staying with my mom and dad at home. ‘Hahahaha!’ she laughs.

Out of school I like taking pictures. I really like pictures so much! Aa brother from FFHC is a good camera man of mine and when he come to visit us first of all I tell him to take his camera from his bag and take a picture of me then he shows it to me! Woooow! What a nice picture!

I like visitors and when they come to our house I do welcome them, I love them, I always tell my mama to prepare something to eat for them. Some of them wonder how I became so active compared to other children in my village. I tell them that my parents and teachers, they usually teaching me good manners and I don’t feel shy to practice.

Thank you very much for the goat because my mom is giving me a milk before I go to school, mmmmmmh so sweet with good taste! I love you all and God bless you. Bye!
